Getting to London

The obvious ways to travel to London are by aeroplane, train or car.

Information on the London airports can be found here.

If you are travelling by train, try Railtrack's web site here for timetables to your London terminus.

We advise against driving to Imperial College since parking will inevitably be difficult once you get into the area - there will be no parking available at Imperial College itself for
workshop attendees. Car parking information is available here, but it will probably be very expensive to garage your car for the two-and-a-half days of ProSim. Also in this part
of central London traffic can be very congested. Our advice is to use public transport if you can!

Getting to Imperial College once you're in London

You can see where Imperial College is in London by looking at this map.

The best way to get to Imperial College from Heathrow airport or the main railway stations is by the London Underground (subway) to South Kensington or Gloucester Road
underground stations. These stations are both on the Circle (marked in yellow on subway maps) and Piccadilly (blue) subway lines. The classic map of the London
Underground can be found here. If you are unfamiliar with the layout, you may well find this web site useful to plan your underground journey.

From Gatwick airport, take the Gatwick Express train to Victoria and the underground to South Kensington.

Refer to the map of how to get to Imperial College from South Kensington station; it is about a 15 minute walk.
